FDRVIEWS will provide you with a simplified user interface to QUERY
and ANALYZE your z/OS storage.
FDRVIEWS will give you the ability to take daily and ad hoc snapshots of your
data at the Volume and Data Set Levels. Most snapshots will only take a few minutes.
FDRVIEWS will allow you to use one centralized database for all of your storage
reporting, providing consistent reporting to all groups that are required to analyze
and make decisions on the past and current storage trends.
We are sure there are many reporting tools that you have available that are
sitting on the shelf because they are complex and costly to run on a daily basis.
You will find FDRVIEWS easy to maintain and to run on a regular basis or
ad hoc when required.
For example, a storage administrator needs to be able not only to see how his
storage is being used during the week and to see peak usage, but also to go back
over the trend of past usage to predict future requirements.

The FDRVIEWS User Interface
The FDRViews GUI component provides the graphical interface to the data. The GUI
will be used to make the three selections and generate reports on the data. The interface consists of three
elements: the Snapshot Selection pane, the Groupings pane and the Questions pane.
