FDRSOS really hauls the mail! Well, in our case E-mail. FDRSOS is so simple to use
and it's a real lifesaver when it comes time to recover data during DISASTER RECOVERY. We submit a
single batch job that restores multiple volumes simultaneously and within an HOUR our E-mail database
is restored and available.
We have a 100GB Meta Volume mirrored with TimeFinder BCVs. It contains
a Microsoft Exchange Database which we backup weekly with FDRSOS. About twice a month the user needs to have it
restored so we use the BCV volumes as spare volumes for the restore without effecting the current database or using
additional production volumes.
