Dear IAM Customer,
A problem with using IAM RLS V8.1 has been discovered in which IAM RLS can acquire an excessive amount of virtual
storage. This problem can result in failures of various IAM RLS functions, including I/O requests, Open and Close
requests, and Syncpoint requests with various messages being issued. This problem can also result in the failure
of the IAM RLS address space with abends such as S80A and S378. The problem is corrected by IAM PTF P-81.0134.
This fix is included in IAM V8.1 L12, which is now available. The fix is also available on Innovations FTP
site for customers to download.
