IAM Version 8.0 L33 is now available.
This level of IAM contains all of the maintenance up through November 30, 2005. If you are
interested in ordering IAM Version 8.0 L33 , contact Innovation at 973-890-7300, or send an
e-mail to upgrades@fdrinnovation.com.
All customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest maintenance level particularly those who
are using the IAM RLS function, as there is some critical maintenance included on the L33 level
affecting IAM RLS.
Customers that have IAM Version 8.0 L29 or higher installed may optionally obtain the maintenance
in zap form from either Innovation’s FTP site or by contacting Innovation as per above. The
maintenance can be found in the files:
IAM80L29.txt
IAM80L30.txt
IAM80L31.txt
IAM80L32.txt.
Start applying the maintenance from the file with the name of the level you are currently running
with, and then go up in sequence to the most recent level. The PTF files are updated on a regular
basis with any updated or new PTF’s. The FTP site can be accessed through Innovations Home Page,
which is at www.innovationdp.fdr.com . Please contact Innovation for your FTP access code via email
at ftpid@fdrinnovation.com, if you do not already have one.
Customers with V8.0 Level 28 or earlier are encouraged to upgrade to the latest level with the updated
Level 33 install tape. There were some fixes, particularly for IAM RLS, which are only available in
load modules that were reassembled in level 29.
IAM VERSION 8.1
IAM Version 8.1 is currently in beta testing, and will be GA in 1Q2006.
